Warren's employer, Southern Communications, posted a recognition of Warren's career in broadcasting that is very touching and memorable. It is being recounted given the value it represents in Warren's contribution as a member of their family.
"Warren's career began on the airwaves of WTNJ in 1987, where his distinctive voice and magnetic presence quickly made him a household name. Later, he brought his unique talents to WWNR, enriching the Southern Communications network with his deep knowledge of the region and his unmistakable charm. Over the decades, Warren became more than a colleague - he was a mentor, a friend, and a fixture in the lives of listeners across the Mountain State.
Known for his offbeat sense of humor and his remarkable attention to detail, Warren had a gift for making people feel seen and heard. Whether behind the mic or in the newsroom, he approached every story and every person with kindness and curiosity. His dedication to his craft and his community touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
