Ashland, KY - William Mark Hannah of Ashland, KY, was born in Hinton, WV, on February 23, 1947, the son of the late Charles R. and June Sinar Hannah. He died November 8, 2025 at the age of 78.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Hannah, father and mother in law, Oliver and Mary Mooring, brothers-in-law, Michael Morring and Gary Ewing.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kay Hannah; greatly admired stepchildren, Monica Muth Martin (Ralph) of Ashland, KY and James Michael Muth (Naomi) of Marco Island, FL; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters, Joyce Gwinn (Al) of Winchester, KY, Linda Ewing, Betty Cales (Randy) and Richard Hannah (Colleen) all of Hinton, WV and Al Hannah (Susan) of Daniels, WV.

Early in Marks' career he spent many years with Combined Insurance Company, where he rapidly became a district manager. Mark spent most of his years developing various businesses in the Scottsdale, AZ area. He held several patents and traveled throughout several countries as a result of those businesses.

Mark and Kay returned to Ashland, KY in 2002. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Ashland.
