William "Jackie" Douglas Sargent, 62, of Rhodell, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
He was the son of the late William Sargent and Viola Neice Sargent.?
Born January 30, 1954 in Beckley, WV. He enjoyed classic cars. He loved restoring them along with his 1949 Chevrolet. He loved his family and cherished every moment he was given.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.?
Those left to cherish his memory includes his companion of 24 years, Patricia Hart; children, Wendy Powell of Smithers, Jackie Sargent of Rhodell, Jennifer Sargrent and husband Brian Cole of Crab Orchard, Amy Blanchard of Sullivan, Jackie Blanchard of Sophia, Carrie Evans of Rhodell, Crystal Hart of NC, Wanda Mann of Shady Spring, and Candice Garbosky of NC; brother, James Sargent; 21 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends.?
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, 1 pm at Bud Community Cemetery in Bud, WV.?
