Yvonne 'Judy' Burgess Hicks, 77, of Oak Hill, died February 28, 2022 at Stonerise in Beckley.
Born Sept. 12, 1944, in Oak Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late James (JD) and Priscilla (Marie) Burgess. She also was preceded in death by her husband, James Hicks.
Judy was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving: daughter and son-in-law, Tonja and Gary Moore of Miramar, Fla.; step-daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jamie Butcher of Elryia, Ohio; grandchildren, Stefanie, Loren and Gary (Trace) Moore, all of Miramar and Andrew and MaKaya Sorg of Winston-Salem, NC.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
